Resignation
Having served as a director of the Grange Residents Company since October 2019 Terry Roche recently stood down which leaves the board with five directors. We are very grateful to Terry for her valuable contribution to the running of the estate and we send her our best wishes for the future.
Annual General Meeting
Covid restrictions have again disrupted our plans for an AGM with the cancellation of the one planned for 13th July. We still favour meeting in person and have therefore booked a spacious hall with openable windows at Ealing Abbey. In the hope of achieving a degree of certainty and avoiding yet another enforced postponement the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 7th September at 6.30pm. Colin Bibra will send a formal notification to shareholders in due course but we hope this advance notice proves helpful.
Playground
New equipment including swings, see-saw, monkey bars and a rope pull-up has been installed in the playground which has now been re-opened. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during the course of the works and we especially thank residents of The Cedars for their co-operation and patience.
Oak trees
You may be aware that infestations of the Oak Processionary Moth, whose larvae can devastate oak trees and are also harmful to humans, are spreading in this region. A nest has been noticed on one of our oaks at the northern end of the lake and Colin Bibra have instructed a specialist contractor to safely remove and dispose of the nest before any harmful larvae emerge. Our other 14 oak trees will also be inspected for any signs of infestation.
The Lake and its Wildlife
We would kindly like to remind all residents that feeding of the fish and water fowl around the lake area is highly discouraged. We are very fond of them and would appreciate your support in keeping them healthy. Bread and similar products are very bad for water birds and encourage pigeons, squirrels and foxes to hang around - particularly if it is thrown and left on the ground.
Should there be any need to feed the wildlife please only use specific bird feed, seeds or oats. Our current review of all signage on the estate will consider the need for signs giving this advice.
Communication with Tenants
Colin Bibra are responsible for communicating with our shareholders and they have established good and effective means of doing so, mostly by email. The directors are also keen to make these news-sheets available to tenants, and if you know someone who lives in a rented property on the estate who is not already receiving them by email, please let them know they can ask to be included on our email list by contacting us at:

On behalf of the Grange Residents Co. Ltd we send our best wishes to all our residents and shareholders.
